In Memoriam
Once again it’s time for Monday’s Music Moves Me
This week is Free Choice, leaving us to choose what we wish to post. This week, we lost some Rock and Roll Royalty - Jeff Beck, Lisa Marie Presley, and Robbie Bachman. I’m going to go with the assumption that many of the other bloggers will be doing a tribute post for Jeff Beck, and as such have chosen to go with Robbie Bachman.
Robbie was Randy’s brother and together they co-founded Bachman-Turner Overdrive, more commonly known as BTO. Robbie was the drummer for the group.
To honor Robbie, I’m sharing the Greatest Hits of BTO.
- You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet
- Takin Care of Business
- Let it Ride
- Roll On Down the Highway
- Looking Out for No 1
- Hey You
- Freeways
- Down Down
- Flat Broke Love
- Can We All Come Together
- Rock and Roll Nights
- Jamaica
Be sure to come back next week, when Cathy has us doing an acrostic theme. I would love it if you watched the intro video, and gave it a like.
Awesome presentation, Mary!
ReplyDeleteGood collection of songs here to honor Robbie!
ReplyDeleteVery nice tribute
ReplyDeleteGreat tribute to a Canadian icon(s)
ReplyDeleteIt was nice that you included songs that weren't the all time greatest hits of BTO. I did like your intro video and I like what you did to the BTO symbol in the other video (you did that, I'm assuming)
ReplyDeleteI haven’t heard a couple of these songs in years! Thanks for sharing 👍
ReplyDeleteThis is fun music. What a great oldies band! Excellent tribute, Mary!! Have a boogietastic week, my dear. ;)
