Weekly Song Challenge, Week 23

Time for the Weekly Song Challenge!

How it works:
Each week, I will provide a list of 3 topics or themes.

You come up with 1 song for each of the 3 themes.

Now, I know several of you like to plan ahead, so I’ve got a page prepared where you can find the upcoming themes..

This Week’s Song Challenge:

  1. A Song with a Chess Piece in the title: Knights of Cydonia - Muse

  2. A ‘Whistle’ Song: Wind of Change - Scorpions

  3. A Song with a Beverage in the title: Escape (The Pina Colada Song) - Rupert Holmes

I’ve decided to go with a simplified linky tool to make it easier for others to get to your blog posts. You are also most welcome to post in the comments as well.

See you all again next week!

  1. Mary,

I'm here, I'm here enjoying your trio of wonderful songs for this week's challenge. "Winds of Change" is a great tune. Thanks for hosting. Have a good week, dearie!

  2. 1. "Queen of Hearts" by Juice Newton
    2. "England Swings" by Roger Miller
    3. "Beer for My Horses" by Toby Keith and Willie Nelson

This was a fun one, Mary! I love your blog, but the weekly song challenge might be my favorite one. Wracking my brain thinking of songs helps to delay the oncoming senility!
