Weekly Song Challenge, Week 4

Did you have fun last week with the challenge? Let’s do it again!

How it works:
Each week, I will provide a list of 3 topics or themes.

You come up with 1 song for each of the 3 themes.

Now, I know several of you like to plan ahead, so I’ve got a page prepared where you can find the upcoming themes..

This Week’s Song Challenge:

  1. A Profession: Working in a Coal Mine by Devo
  2. A Day of the Week: Tuesday’s Gone by Lynyrd Skynyrd
  3. A Vehicle: Pickup Man by Joe Diffie

So what say you? Does this sound like a fun game? I hope you’ll join me. Post your links in the comments below, and I look forward to having you join me again next week!

  3. Mary,

My daddy, grandpa, uncles, late FIL, and many others in my family made a living as a coal miner. The future of coal is at stake under the new administration. :( Your song picks for this week's prompts are fabulous. Lynyrd Skynyrd is a fabulous southern rock band. "Pickup Man" made me smile. :D You gotta love country music! Thanks for hosting the mid-week fun, darlin'!
