#4M: Sounds like the Islands
It’s a new month, and we have a new musical conductor. Stacy from Stacy Uncorked gets to choose our themes this month. Today’s theme is Songs about Islands, or an Island Theme.
When I think of the islands, I think of reggae, perhaps a little calypso. I also think of Jimmy Buffett. A few funs songs that mention Islands in the title or lyrics. As a result, this week’s list is going to be a bit of a crap shoot. To some it may not even make sense, and that’s okay, too.

And I can't believe that we both found and selected 30,000 pounds of bananas! I really like the Weezer song. As long time islands residents, I should be surprised at the unique titles of Jimmy Buffett & Kenny Chesney tunes. Well done. Have a blessed week.

ReplyDeleteSo many of us picked "Kokomo" and "Day-O". I think you had the only "Cheeseburger in Paradise" if I'm not mistaken, which surprised me a bit. Overall, you presented a great playlist. Bob Marley and Jimmy Buffet scream "Islands".
