#4M: Mama
It’s a new month and that means we have a new music conductor for Monday’s Music Moves Me. As we just celebrated Mother’s Day, our task is to come up with songs about Mothers or Families.
Here is what I came up with:
- Renegade - Styx
- Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen
- Mama Said Knock You Out - LL Cool J
- Mama I’m Coming Home - Ozzy Osbourne
- Mama Told Me Not To Come - Three Dog Night
- Don’t Forget To Remember Me - Carrie Underwood
- A Song For Mama - Boyz II Men
- Mom - Meghan Trainor ft Kelli Trainor
- Mama Said - The Shirelles
- Flowers For Mama - George Jones
Today’s post is part of the Monday’s Music Moves Me blog hop, hosted by X-Mas Dolly, and co-hosted by Stacy Uncorked, Curious as a Cathy. , and Ramblin with AM. Be sure to stop by the hosts and visit the other participants. If you have a MUSIC* post, feel free to join in the fun! *sorry non-music posts are not permitted in this blog hop.
Mary,
ReplyDeleteGreat playset for Mothers! 'Renegade' is a great song to get ya boogieing and 'Mama Said' is a fantastic old classic. Thanks for sharing the dance floor with the 4M crew, my dear. Take care and be well, sweetie!
Interesting playlist. Love the Three Dog Night song
ReplyDeleteI did pick Ozzy and Boyz II Men. Thanks for sharing this list. It was great.
ReplyDeleteGreat set you made here!
ReplyDeleteGreat job my friend. Some I haven't heard and some I have, but love them all! I haven't heard that one by Ozzie in such a long time too! You've rocked the house. Hope you had a great weekend!!!
ReplyDeleteThat was a great list, Mary. we haven't heard the Three Dog Night for ages😸Clean Pawkisses for a Happy Wednesday. Stay Safe Healthy and Yourselfie🙏🐾😽💞
ReplyDeleteVery nice set. Some of these songs (Mama Said, Mama Told me Not to Come) I haven't heard in years. I almost used Bohemian Rhapsody on my blog and changed my mind at the last minute. Hope you are having a good week.
ReplyDeleteYou forgot "Mother" by the Police. Or maybe you didn't include it, because you didn't want to ruin Mother's Day. That is one bizarre song. Great idea and list, Mary!
