#AtoZChallenge: D
Would you look at that? We made it through the first week of this challenge… We got this!
A quick review of what we’re doing here:
I’ll post 3 to 5 songs with a word that represents the letter of the day. In the comments, you’ll share songs that also use the selected word in either the title or lyrics. Pretty easy, and loads of fun!
Today’s word is “Dog”
From Dictionary.com:
- Black Dog - Led Zeppelin
- Atomic Dog - George Clinton
- The Dog and the Butterfly - Heart
- Me and You and a Dog Named Boo - Lobo
- Walkin’ The Dog - Aerosmith
And those are my Dogs for the day. Let’s see what Dog songs you come up with. Your songs can be from any musical genre. Share in the comments.
Hmmm, a song with dog? Hmmm... no, nothing come to my mind, I will take a pass ;)
ReplyDeleteD is for Denim
No worries. I've got some more difficult ones coming up.
DeleteThis is a harder one, the only song that comes to mind is "Hound Dog" as sung by Elvis or "How much is the doggie in the window" - which I hate 😂
ReplyDeleteTasha 💖
Virginia's Parlour - The Manor (Adult concepts - nothing explicit in posts)
Tasha's Thinkings - Vampire Drabbles
Those are good ones! Thanks, Tasha!
DeleteThe Monkees had a song, “Gonna Buy Me A Dog”... and then there was a song, “Me and you and a dog named Boo”. And then the ever popular “Who let the dogs out?”
ReplyDeleteI had forgotten about The Monkees song. The other two, I think I used for this topic last year.
DeleteDogs of War - ACDC? I had to cheat and look at my iTunes list :)
ReplyDeleteJanet’s Smiles
Ha Ha! I've found that as I get older, I have to rely on extra 'tools' to help me out as well.
Delete"Hound Dog" by Big Mama Thornton or that guy with the sideburns
ReplyDelete"Bird Dog" by the Everly Brothers
"Diamond Dogs" by David Bowie
"Dirty Old Egg Suckin' Dog" by Johnny Cash
Good list again!
Fun tunes! Thanks, John!
DeleteHow much is that doggie in the window? My dad loved that song. You and me and a dog named Boo.
