#RocktoberMusicFest : Shinedown - Junkies For Fame

Yay! It’s Friday, and that means it’s practically the weekend! Woot!

Today, I’m sharing a band that is a bit less ‘classic’. 


I stumbled on this band in my Youtube Recommendations recently, and they are really growing on me. Yes, I know they aren’t really new. I have heard of them before - I just haven’t given them much attention.

I went in search for some background for this particular song, and of course I came up empty handed. I’m just happy that there aren’t any regional restrictions on the video, so at least I can show you that.  As far as I can tell, this song came out in 2008.

The band got their start in Jacksonville, Florida in 2001. They’ve gone through a number of different lineups, trying to ‘get it right’, but the 2 main consistent members have been Brent Smith on vocals and Barry Kerch on drums.
